Company Structure and Development
The Topsonic company was founded as a subsidiary of the topsystem Systemhaus GmbH in 1996.
The topsystem Systemhaus GmbH develops information systems for the aviation and logistics industries. In the aviation industry, the software products which are offered control and support the complete chain of processes involved in ground handling, from contract management and flight planning to service recording and invoicing. The topsystem logistics enterprise is the market leader in the German-speaking region for the development and distribution of speech-based picking systems (Pick-by-Voice).
Upon its foundation, the Topsonic GmbH initially specialised in the development of aircraft noise monitoring systems and has since become one of the worldwide market leaders in this sector.
Topsonic's numerous successful projects in the airport industry attracted the attention of other businesses. In the meantime, Topsonic noise monitoring systems are in operation at racetracks, at industrial plants, as well as at the German army's military shooting ranges (Bundeswehr).
