Aircraft Flight Track Monitoring
With the help of Topsonic's radar link module, you can get a 100 % correlation of noise with the specific aircraft that caused the noise. The module is an integral part of Topsonic's Windows application Noise and Track Monitoring System. You do not have to use a separate programme.
Detection of track keeping by Topsonic's programme helps you to find the "trouble makers" at your airport.
The module supports several different kinds of track display.
Real Time Display
The measured noise levels of all connected monitoring stations together with the actual flight tracks are displayed in real time. A change of colour occurs in the display once the level values exceed the threshold set for the noise detection.
The real time display of the received data from the radar system draws the tracks together by SSR-code, Callsign and/or flight number.
Playback Feature
This feature allows the replay of stored tracks in 2D or 3 D with a display of the noise values of all NMTs. The speed of replay is selectable. A maximum speed of 100x is possible. The replay can be stopped at any time or can even be played backwards.
The noise levels are marked with different colours when the thresholds of the noise event detection module are exceeded or if the noise event was correlated to a flight movement.
Mass Plot
A mass plot of selected flights is a display in 2D or 3D with actual flight information such as climb rate, speed, and altitude. The track selection can be made according to any flight information such as carrier, aircraft type, runway, SID/STARs, etc.
Climb Profile
The climb profile shows the altitude versus the flown distance/route to or from the runway.
Climb and Speed Profile
The climb profile shows the aircraft speed versus the flown distance/route to or from the runway.
Track Density Plot
Track density plots illustrate the concentration of flight paths around the airport.
